What’s in your Kit?

• Prepped Seashells
• Mod Podge Glue
• Scissors
• Paintbrush
• Sponge Brush
• Gold & Silver Paint
• Napkin Designs

Choose and Prepare your napkin design

• Pick a napkin design you love!
• Carefully separate the top printed layer from the backing. (Only the thin printed layer is used.)
• Cut or tear pieces to fit your shell’s shape.

Apply the Glue

• Use a sponge brush to spread a thin, even layer of glue on the inside of the shell.

Attach Your Napkin

• Gently place your napkin piece onto the glued area.
• Use your fingers to press it down smoothly.
  (Start in the center and work outward to avoid wrinkles.)
• Let dry for about 10 minutes.
• Gently tear away the excess napkin hanging over the edge of the shell. 
  Tip: Dampening the napkin with water makes it easier to tear smoothly and cleanly.
• Apply another thin layer of glue over the top of the napkin to seal it onto the shell. Don’t worry it will dry clear!
• Let dry for about 10-15 min.

Add some gold or silver!

• Once dry, use a paintbrush to carefully apply gold or silver paint along the edges of your shell for a beautiful, finished look.
• Let everything dry completely.
• For best results add a second coat of gold or silver paint.
• Optional: Add extra layers of glue for a glossier finish!
